Steak with Chimichurri

Ingredients

For the Chimichurri Sauce:

  • 1 cup of thinly chopped Parsley
  • 1 Shallot, thinly chopped
  • 4 Garlic cloves, thinly chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. dried spicy Peppers
  • 2 tsp. Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1.5 oz. Olive Oil
  • Salt

Steak

  • 1.5 lb. skirt Steak, 1/2" thick

Directions

For the Chimichurri Sauce:

  • Thinly chop the parsley, shallot and garlic.
  • Mix them on a bowl.
  • Add dried spicy peppers.
  • Add a splash of red wine vinegar and the olive oil.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Mix it all together.

For the steak:

  • Oil and salt the steak.
  • Grill 3-5 minutes on each side.
  • Slice diagonal.
  • Top with Chimichurri mix.

Pro Tips

Chimichurri sauce can be added to any grilled meat or fish. Try it on pizza as a condiment too!
